Adhesive between layers - Inventor

Is it possible to add an 'adhesive' between two parts in inventor or any other autodesk product?  If not, is it possible to simulate an adhesive bond between two layers?

Thanks,

Hi!

What's the objective of that?

To simulate the bond between the layers.

I have thin laminations that are "glued' together to form an object that is rotated at a high velocity.  I was wondering if there was any way I could simulate that bond between the layers like it would be in reality?

Thanks

But you are talking about a visual thing, or to study the behavior of the parts in FEA  simulation mechanical?

To simulate the parts in FEA.  Is there an Autodesk package that allows me to do this that you know of?

Thanks,

Hi!

To do that, you doesn't need to model the glue, it's enough if you give a conect boundary condition between faces.

You can try this in AUtodesk Mechanical Simulation.
