Adding Unistrut to Content Center and using Adaptive feature

Hey All,

I want to make a unistrut profile and add it into the content center and also want to use adaptive feature to its full capacity so that whenever I drop a unistrut from content center and use the mate to constrain, I want it change length depending on the mate length!

Can someone help me?

Thanks,

Frame Generator...  This is exactly what Frame Generator does-- it adjusts frame members (Unistrut, for instance) to their locations.  Instead of being controlled by constraints, though, the lengths are controlled by the frame skeleton, plus end treatments.

If you can provide a simple example assembly, I or someone else here should be able to show you how it works in FG.

Just make your uni strut a template file, avoid the CC and avoid the Frame Generator, no reason to have to create a separate assembly in order to add a piece of unit strut, and as a template, it will act the same way the CC does, if you add the family into the part. If you need an example let me know I can show you what I mean.
