It also when creating  sketch symbol with points.

I can also create a sketch in Assembly and share sketch in the view - no points

regards

@eladm

While in the sketch, look to the far right where it says Sketch Only, the Point icon next to that is likely selected.  By Default, Points are drawn as "Sketch Only" entities, meaning that are only visible while the sketch is active.  By Unselecting them here, you should be able to make them visible when the sketch is Finished.

I have just tried this, as I have come across this in the past, and it doesn't work for me...
The "Points" but changed the ctr point to a point. The "Sketch Only" doesn't seem to do anything regarding points either. I use this feature regularly when creating drawings but it has never worked for points (or at least for me).

Hi! Sketch points never get displayed in the drawing regardless of the type or the source. The only way to show a point is to create workpoint in the part or the assembly. Then include it in the drawing view.

Many thanks!

In Assembly there is no option grounded point (like in IPT- you can moved XYZ) the assembly work point can't snap to assembly sketch drawing .

@johnsonshiue is right.  I bow to the master.  😄  When I tested this I did not follow through and actually finish the sketch!

Hi! Assembly work geometry is like components being constrained to other component geometry. There is a way to create "grounded" workpoint in assembly. Simply create a UCS, which is driven by 6 parameters. It has three axes, three planes and a center point.

Many thanks!
