Hi,

I receive this warning message when I do create new assembly Standard.iam .

I disabled "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support" in Region settings and I disabled the Anti-Virus software too as mentioned here https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/the-database-in-could-not-be-opened/td-p/9829166 , but this did not solve the issue either.

Thank you,

It could be that somehow your template has become corrupted.  Is this a modified template, or right "out of the box"?  Are you able to use the other templates in that folder, for example, can you start a new Part file?

Hi! A few things to check. Please make sure you have read-write access to the template folder. What release of Inventor are you using? Are the template files newer than the Inventor you are running?

Lastly, if nothing above applies to you, you can get a new set of default templates in App Options (Tools -> App Options -> File -> Configure Default Templates). Does it work better afterwards?

Many thanks!

I really appreciate your help.

The issue disappeared when I uninstalled the antivirus. it seems that even if it is deactivated it blocks some functionalities.
Thank you,
