Hello,
How can I displaya 3D sketch on a drawing, but not above the view ?
The 3D model : the array is a 3d sketch
The obtained drawing : the sketch is always above the view, like if drawn on the sheet :
The drawing needed :
Any ideas welcome, if needed I'll create an Idea

Hi,
Thanks for sharing the file.

I couldn't find any way to achieve what you want, either in 2016 (the version of the files you posted) or in 2018.

Hi! I can reproduce the behavior. Indeed, model 2D/3D sketch can be retrieved in the drawing view. But, it does act like an overlay on top of a model view. Model sketch geometry does not participate in hidden line compute. As a result, it appears on top of the view.
Many thanks!

Hi @TONELLAL,
Could you create the part called Pièce1 as a single 60x65 rectangle and then use the Rectangular pattern to create the larger grid, but do this as separate solid bodies?
I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

An idea yes... but :
-this mean to create an assembly instead of a part
-more boring, the sketch need to be an array. On real models, I have nothing regular
In the same theme I can create split features, but in a split I can use only 1 line. In my sketch I have dozens...

So, I note there is no solution to display a sketch on the 3D model and not directly on the sheet. This will be reported on Inventor Idea.
The easiest workaround I found is to create a "snake sketch" and use it to split the face :
