2019 Not Responding

Having a problem with Inventor not responding with almost anything I do.  I've cleared Temp files.  Also increased Undo memory limits.  I did get a warning that I was out of Undo memory before I cleared temp and increased memory.  When I watch Task Manager for memory and disk usage, the memory usage just keeps going up and up.  When Inventor is just opened and the main problem file is opened, memory usage is 615MB.  The ipt file is 8.4MB.  At first the Not Responding will clear after some time and memory used goes up.  But after one or two more Not Respondings, the memory usage is up to 12GB and climbing.  Any suggestions?

Hello!

Is this a new install of Inventor or has it been working and just started giving you trouble?  Can you tell us anything about the file that is causing you trouble?  Also, can you list your system specs?  Are all product updates installed?

Hi! This usually is hardware related. What is the machine spec? You probably have relatively low system RAM and you are running on embedded graphics card. You need to have 16GB system RAM in order to have acceptable performance. If possible, add more system RAM. Also, go to Tools -> App Options -> Hardware -> set it to Conservative mode.

Many thanks!

Thank you both for your responses.  I now see an alert that the part is Unresolved.   I've been juggling files and folders last week. Also, this particular part has been "Frankensteined" to death.  Many different variations over time and the final result is simple enough for me to just recreate without much trouble and end up with a cleaner history, etc.  I believe this will take care of it.  Again...Thanks!
