How does one move a browser tree item up or down within its respective heading to ensure proper order for reporting.

Hello @jlkono I think the only way to reorder Contacts within the Stress Analysis Environment is by renaming them as it sorts them by name.

If you are thinking of something else please attach a screenshot to clarify.

thank you but unless i'm missing the silver bullet, I disagree with your response. My concern for the need to manipulate, for example, the FEA loads order in the browser simulation tree is so the report output is layed out in a logical sequence.

I am finding that the tree is not ordered in any manner except for the order in which the item was entered. Thereafter, there appears to be no means to move an item up or down or to sort in alpha numeric order. The forum posts appear to have acknowledged this issue since 2003. I was hoping that I am missing some discreet means somewhere, hoping this has been corrected.

Any solutions?

I have added a screenshot showing the out of out of sequence of FEA stress analysis browser tree loads due to edits, deletions and additions. The order apepars to be by order of entry, not alpha numeric. The report then prints and plots the surface loads out of same sequence and is unacceptable for the analyses report.

Any advice, other than cutting and pasting in the report.

@jlkono the Contacts can be renamed and sorted but the Loads cannot be reorganized within the browser tree, they remain how they were input.

thank you kelly, albeit i don't like the resolution it is as it is in the hands of the developers. Developers. please take note that this issue has stood since 2003! in my opinion, While Autodesk adopts new software under their cloak, the Autodesk quality appears to stagger. As a user, I expect continuity of the autodesk quality. Much appreciate your understanding.m
