Unable to activate MAYA on ubuntu

Hi,

I am trying to activate my student version of MAYA on my ubuntu 14.04, These are the problems I a facing:

1. Autodesk cant connect to internet so online activation is not working.

2. When I switch to offline activation it says that a request code has been generated in some file ....RegInfo.html (attached), but no request code is there and a file path is there ...LongCode.xml .

3. In that file also there is no field of request code. 

(We need to submit this request code to get the activation code , but the request code itself is not generated :/). What should I do here

It looks like you're seeing the Connect to Internet Error. This is due to a security upgrade Autodesk performed on our servers to mitigate the POODLE SSL 3.0 vulnerability. The following article(s) should help you resolve the problem:

What version are you using? As described by Otto, you may need to install the Poodle hotfix.

No , the problem is still there 😕 ,  Version - Ubuntu 14.04 , MAYA = 2015 SP2

I tried the above poodle fix suggested (for connecting to internet) , but still MAYA is unable to connect.  I reinstalled MAYA, but again the same problem persists.

Another thing is I tried to manually install it but as stated in my question no request code is being generated (and for manual activation it seems I require that).

I tried contacting customer support for Licensing and activation two times via mail , stating my problem but as I can understand from their reply is that I need to generate request code somehow to manually activate MAYA (which seems impossible to generate from my side -- attached screenshot)
