I am using Window 8 64bits and I recieve this error:
"The backend crashed unexpectedly. You can look into the latest log files to see what happened."
when I click on the button (Show logs) I've this file (stingray_log_2015-08-25 21_43_25Z.text) with these informations:

I have the same problem as yours jaderbrandao.
I have change my version of Stingray to the latest one which is v 1.0.113.0 (the one that is supposed to fix the backend problem) . I opened every HTTP/TCP ports in my firewall, executed both stingray_editor.exe and StingrayEditorBackend.exe with admin rights. Should we change StingrayEditorBackend.exe.config file so that it works?
For me it's happening on windows 7 64 Bits familial edition.
I know my problem is not hardware and some people says the problem comes with the system language because the program is US, so I'm gonna try this out. I hope there will be a fix soon. Thank you Autodesk for the support.
I also have an education account and the Stingray version that comes with the product key given is the 1.0.31.0 which didn't work either.
