I did manual update of 8 desktops at school that have a Admin install ( does not have auto update like personal use)
I have latest update provided to me with latest admin install
I do get emails that give me heads up on latest update - latest one is installed. But IT dept. has to give me access to update. I know I can check the version I have at home.
I'm a little confused by your posting.. You updated 8 machine but IT has to give you rights to update. So did you update or what?

I did Update with notification sent on May 20 - (manual update on 8 computers).
a student did some work at home on his account and wanted to continue work in class but it looks like we are out of sync again on updates. I have not got a more recent notification. the update # I have is posted - is that the latest ?
You can check the Update Release Notes on the Fusion 360 blog:

I don't know whether Fusion 360 Student version differs in any way to commercial Fusion.
Perhaps this could be of use in case you should have an update:
I am not receiving an update notice
latest update was June 4 V. 2.0.5818 & May 28 v.2.0.5811
I got a notice for a April 23 update v.2.0.5688
but was put on hold until May 13 - see above
This is the last update I have received
My at home version is 2.0.5688 and it did not auto update
So my issue is I am not receiving a notification of the updates. -
I did manual updates and all fine now. Just need notifications like I was getting before so I can plan.
