Is your subscription current?
If you only pay for one month, it stops working after the month is up.

BTW: We are not Autodesk. We are just users like you. We don't have access to internal licensing controls.

Hello @Anonymous,

Can you please share the exact license error you are receiving?

The solutions below are some common ones for licensing errors:

  1. Reboot the computer & quit any applications from Task Manager running in the background

  2. Verify that you are assigned & are a named user on Desktop Subscription
  3. Please try a license reset to force a reactivation
  4. Subscription Licensing Error: "Establish an Internet connection to continue"

  5. The Windows profile is set to standard user & needs to be changed to Administrator

  6. Temporarily disable security settings like Antivirus, Firewall & UAC on your system

Please "Accept Solution" if a reply or replies have helped resolve the issue or answered your question, to help others in the community.

Are you saying that Windows user accounts must be in the local Administrators group, to run AutoCAD LT? @natasha.l

Hello @rkmcswain & @Anonymous,

Licensing information is stored in user folders, so the information needs to be accessed to verify your license & use the software.

@natasha.l - that did not answer my question. Let me rephrase. What local Windows user group do end users need to be in, to run AutoCAD? Administrator? Power User? User?  (I'm not talking about access needed during the install, only what is needed to run the application) Thanks.

Local Administrator is what we use for all our PC user logins that need AutoCAD/REVIT.
