License given a couple weeks ago no longer valid for Maya?

Hello,

I downloaded the student version of Alias 2020 and it came bundled with Maya, VRED and Sketchbook pro.  Alias works fine, but when I open Maya and try to activate, it tells me the serial number is invalid?  This is the first time I tried to open Maya since downloading a couple weeks ago.  VRED and Sketchbook Pro open fine.

Please help!  Maya, Alias and VRED are my main workflow!

Never heard of free educational/student license being bundled. 

Can you share a link where all this applicatoin was bundled together?

Perhaps "bundled" is the wrong wording?  When I downloaded Alias 2020, the download screen asked me if I wanted Maya, Vred, and Sketchbook pro.  I had planned on getting Maya and VRED anyway so I checked the boxes and downloaded it all.  Not sure how to give you what you are asking for?

Hope this explanation will suffice??  If not please let me know and I will try to get you what you have asked for!

@Anonymous I can't see any bundles on the student portal.

Have a look in http://manage.autodesk.com, see if Maya and what other products are present.

As a student attending a qualified educational institution, you have to request each product through the educational site, did you do that?

I was going to do that, but since it asked me if I wanted VRED 2020 and Maya 2019 (which I did want and planned on downloading anyway) I figured I didn't need to?

VRED and Sketchbook Pro work fine.  Do I need to re-download Maya 2019

If you go here: https://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/maya

Login, select 2019 as the year version, your os and language then a serial number will be generated, that's your key for Maya 2019

No just request it and you will be issued a serial #.   Use that serial # to activate it.

Also did you get VRED or VRED Professional?

I got VRED Design 2020.  I wanted VRED PRO.  Perhaps I checked the wrong box accidentally.  Don't remember if they gave an option for either PRO or Design?

Can I upgrade it to PRO?

Students are allowed VRED Professional and you would have to request it.

Again I never seen where educational license download ask if you want other software that you're not entitled to.

Normal Autodesk support or Autodesk Educational support?

If the former they will not touch educational accounts.

Im not sure.  I clicked the ask for help button and filled out the forms.  I will reach out to the educational support just to be sure.

If you went to regular support, nothing will happen, they don't deal with Education licenses etc.

Education deal with everything education.
