Please respond with information about BOM and Inventor LT 2016. Is this available? If not, what is the alternative solution without having to purchase Inventor 2016.

Welcome to the community..

THis type of question should be posted over here but to answer your question, Inventor LT does not support assemblys so no BOM.   However you have to provide more details of what you are looking for in regards to BOM..  Like create them, review them....

Technically the BOM capability is not available in Inventor LT as already mentioned; however, there is a work around.

Create an iPart within the part file and select values you want from the iProperties and Parameters. In the drawing create a General Table and choose from the columns listed; based on the iPart values; to populate this table.

You can be quite creative with this now that you have a spreadsheet table to work with, including exporting the values for external use.
