This is now getting rather frustrating.
I have uninstalled, installed AutoCAD LT, uninstalled and reinstalled the identity manager, allowed app through Windows Defender and still getting no further. Is this a common issue? I have worked with AutoCAD for 25 years and never had issues like this before.

I presume you have seen this? Have you opened a support ticket with Autodesk support? See below.
Many thanks, I have contact through e-mail but not had a reply yet also a missed call on Monday but I was out in the field!! Even though the app isn`t running I keep getting a pop up for an Autodesk Identity Manager Report.
Can you share a screenshot of it?

Also, are ALL of the Autodesk and AutoCAD LT updates installed?
Can you reinstall the manager if you haven't yet?

Thankyou for the support. After spending hours going through the suggestions. I took a break from it to give it some thought. I have disconnected my desktop from the WiFi and connected through my mobile data and this appears to have resolved the issue. Many thanks once again.
Make sure you have access to the following then under Wifi for the future:
