I can not install revit 2018 problem 1619

I'm trying to install the new Revit 2018 but installation keeps failing. Could someone give me a hint about what i'm doing wrong?

I did a research on google and tried to uninstall all the Microsoft Visual C++ but didn't work.

The 1619 error is not the issue..  Sorry that you are faced with this problem..  A 1603 failure on a core Autodesk product..  Not good.  Smiley Sad

See @TravisNave and my information in this posting.   Some users have had success in reinstalling Windows but that's not really a viable solution.   If something does work for you please let us know because to this date no one has indicated any success in getting over the 1603 error on a core product installation.

Also can you install locally and not off the "E" drive?

The log file you have attached is a "common" log of the control software for all the different msi installation packages.

Open windows explorer and type in the address bar "%temp%" followed by enter key. This opens your temp-folder were specific log file for each msi module were created. Sort on date and zip all *.log files then post here, that we can take a look.

Hello @Anonymous,

Please try to review > this article < for the common issues associated with a 1603 error on the setup log.

You can try to also review your Event Viewer & pull up the events during the attempted installation locating the event error then search for it online this will help you determine the root cause.

Or as mentioned above you can test the installation from a local drive.
