Fusion updates ruin docked app (on Mac)

Every time Fusion 360 updates, the icon in my dock opens a version of fusion that is messed up—I can't edit objects or twirl open containers on the left (bodies, sketches, etc) so I close it. When I hit CMD+Space to find the app it doesn't show up. I have to navigate in the hidden library folders, find the updated app, and replace it in the dock (Autodesk doesn't want the app to live in the Applications folder). This happens every couple of days.

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Perhaps you will want to ask this over in the Fusion 360 forum where the actual users are and maybe they have seen this issue before.
