Error 400 3dmax

I can't activate my student license in 3dmax. I get error 400. What I should do to fix that?

Please review this post on the Steps for Setting-Up Student Software.

• Once you create an Educational Account you have all the information to download, install & activate right within the account, you will not need an activation code.
• An internet connection is required to activate, every 30days you should be connected to the internet at some point (to verify your license & use the software)
• You can access the Autodesk products in the left panel of the site under "All Products".

I already installed 3ds Max.
The problem is different. I can not activate a student license. When starting the program, I have two options: open a trial version for 30 days or activate a license. After trying to activate I get this error:

"Your online activation request has returned an error (400) which is not allowing you to be processed.

Click the "Use another method" link below to complete the necessary forms and submit your request to the local Autodesk Business Center for your area. A Customer Service Representative will respond within the next 2 business days."

I can only run a trial version of the program for 30 days.
How can I get rid of the error and activate the student license?

Welcome to the community. It seems you reached your max allowable activations, please make sure you are connected to the internet & follow the suggestions. 

1. If you have reached the limit of times you can activate, which seems like the issue then try a License Reset
2. Review the Steps for Setting-Up Student Software
3. An internet connection is required to sign in and activate, every 30days you should be connected to the internet at some point (to verify your license & use the software)

After that you will have error 400 again last time, next you must restart the program and it will work without activation!!!

Thank you for returning to let us know you have resolved this. Although this method of activation is only for perpetual licenses if you have a subscription license an internet connection is required to activate, every 30days you should be connected to the internet at some point (to verify your license & use the software). 

You would be violating the License agreement by activating in this manner with a subscription. 

If someone else is having this issue in the future, please refer to the information below:

Activation Limit Error 400

1. If you have reached the limit of times you can activate, try a License Reset to force an activation causing the activation window to open at launch
2. Use the "Enter Serial Number" if you were given one on your Autodesk Account if it is Sign-in only product activation then sign-in with your Autodesk credentials 
3. An internet connection is required to sign in and activate, every 30days you should be connected to the internet at some point (to verify your license & use the software)
