My AutoCAD 2018 deployment would install fine, but when I tried to open the program, nothing would happen. In the Event Viewer I would see "Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll" for acad.exe.
I tried three different kinds of hardware, I tried all the suggestions listed here, but nothing helped. It turns it out it was caused by the "Support Content" folders being something other than the default location. Autodesk has a short article about it: How do I use support content folders in a deployment? I had selected the second option. I don't know why these options exist if they break the program...
I hope Autodesk can fix this, or it helps someone else with the same problem.
