Error -15.570.0, AutoCAD 2017 - Network License not available

Anonymous
Not applicable

Error Code: 15.570.0

A few of our employees have been trying to Access AutoCAD 2017 out of the office, through OpenVPN. However, they are getting the error message below:

autocad error.PNG

We can ping the server fine, the same employees can access the program in the office on our network but out of the office is the issue, through OpenVPN. Not being blocked by the firewall.

Any help would be much appreciated, as the matter is quite urgent.

Thanks

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

When remote users are accessing the license manager through a VPN connection the system will time itself out..  So I would recommend that you bump up the timeout variable or follow these steps: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Error-A-valid-license-could-not-be-obtained-by-the-network-license-manager.html

Accepted solution

Turns out the separate firewall was turned on for some reason on the actual server! Issue resolved, but thanks anyway.
