Cannot connect to the license server system

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to use generate my license server configuration but but when i try reread on LMTOOLS i get an error saying that

adskflex: Cannot connect to license server system.

I'm posting the screenshot of the error and attaching the license log file

Can anyone help me?, i already tryed with searching on the flexera softaware site and i failed.

you maybe running into a port conflict

try adding another port in the license file

Hi darren, i performed the steps but i still getting the same message.

I review the log file, and i found this

I'm not an expert but i guess if the adskflex is trying to use the TCP port 0.

This is the error message (i returned to the first port number 27000)


adskflex: Cannot connect to license server system.
The license server manager (lmgrd) has not been started yet,
the wrong port@host or license file is being used, or the
port or hostname in the license file has been changed.

the error message mentions that the host name could have been changed

try changing the hostname in the license file to the Ip address instead of the hostname

also verify your firewall is not blocking these ports
TCP ports 2080 (for the adskflex vendor daemon)
TCP ports 27000 to 27009 (for the lmgrd master daemon)
