We are proud to announce the release of the Autodesk® Installation Diagnostic Assistant. If you have received a “Some products Failed to install” message after running the installer for an Autodesk software, AIDA can read your installation log files and provide assistance in identifying the root cause and providing a suggested solution. You can find more information about this tool as well as a download link in the article linked below.

Nice work!
EDIT:
It would be better if you could add links to suggested solutions by integrating the Ottobot into the diagnostics process.

Good suggestion. While OTTO wasn't directly integrated into AIDA, many of the solutions that appear in AIDA were leveraged from the OTTO solution database.
What do I do when even the AIDA installer fails with Error code 2203 ? (win 10 home)
That's a windows error which means there a permission issue. Try the following solution Here

Thanks, but this link did not help.
I have started a new forum thread in Installation & Licensing as this seems to be more complex.
Hi,
This doesn't work for me. I really need a solution to the instillation problem.
Here is a copy of the log from Notepad. Please see attached.
Thanks in advance.
Download the software from the Autodesk Virtual Agent
Once there, use the Download Links option to navigate to the application you need to download.
NOTE: If there are multiple parts for the download, you'll need to click each part to download them, one they are downloaded double-click Part1 (which will automatically extract the remaining parts) to begin the installation.

Hi Sanu.Amen
The error in your log is on the material library. The error reported is a download failure so I might suggest trying one of the other download methods such as browser download. If you continue to have issues I would advise you to start your own new thread here in the I&L forum and post the full zipped set of logs that AIDA was able to pull for you.

It appears the link to Acad LT 2017 is broken on the Virtual Agent. @Darin.Green do you have download copy laying around?

Welcome to the community..
What does your posting have to do with the AIDIA? In the future please create your own posting and not hi-jack another one that has nothing to do with your needs.
Are you asking us the permission to use the student license of Revit? We are only users here assisting other users. Go create an Educational Account and request Revit. As a reminder this free license can only be used for learning and training purpose.. It can't be used to create information that will be used in a commercial aspect and/or gain from it (meaning monetary).

Dear AIDA people,
I can't successfully run AIDA on my WINDOWS 10. After a clean installation, AIDA produces the error message you can see in picture.
It's related to the lack of python which I know is not installed in my system. Should it be part of the AIDA distribution?
I'd like to use AIDA to discover why AutoCAD 2017 does not install in my WINDOWS 10 machine, as you can see frommy post
Thanks,
Emanuele

There's no such thing as AIDA people..
To resolve the AIDA issue, delete as many files and folders in your temp directory (which is normally located here C:\Users\<username>\Appdata\local\temp>) Appdata is a hidden folder and you may need to adjust your viewing settings. Or a fast way to access that location is per this.

You may also just want to start a new posting and post your installation log file there. We can review it with the need of AIDA and point you in the right direction if you like.

Dear Mark,
thanks for your help. Unfortunately I still have the same error after deleting most of the files and dirs of %TEMP%
@Anonymous
Like I said create a new posting (meaning do not reply here) and tell us what product/version and attach your log file. Just make sure your installation log file doesn't contain any personal info such as your serial # (before you share it). I will tell you it will be much faster if you did it this way.
