Hello all, I'm unsure about something here. After reading through Autodesk's License Compliance (link below) I'm still a little lost on what you CAN and CANNOT use a Student License version of their software for. I bring this up because I was hoping to do some personal projects that I could show off on sites like Artstation or Skethcfab. So the question is, if I'm not profiting or using it for commercial purposes, but instead to just showcase work, would that be alright or not?

Hopefully I explained my conundrum correctly, appreciate any helpful responses!

First there's no link but its not needed.. 

Let me answer your question..

1.  In order to request and receive a free 3 yr student license you must be signed up and attending a qualified educational institution.  Are you?

2.  A student license can only be used for learning and training while attending a qualified educational institution.  Once you leave or graduate, you can no longer use the license even if there's time still left on it.

3.  Any information created under this free license cannot be shared with no one, or posting out in the public (papers, magazine, internet and etc) or in anyway that someone can make money off (even if you are not individual making money).  However you can use the information you created in your personal portfolio for job interviews.

So what you're asking you're unable to do.

In this case, you are considering using the student license for a professional purpose. Below you can see that, that falls under improper use of the student license. 

Please review the license compliance FAQ or review educational community terms.  

"Can educational or student versions of Autodesk software be used for commercial purposes?

• According to the Software License Agreement accompanying educational institutional versions Autodesk software programs, those software programs may not be used for any commercial purposes, or other for-profit purposes.
• According to the Software License Agreement accompanying Student versions Autodesk software programs, Student versions may not be used for any training or commercial purposes, professional purposes, commercial training purposes, or other for-profit purposes."
