Removing multi user capability

Hello!

We are going to make a change and will be purchasing the "deployment change from multi user to single user" for three licenses.

I can't find any instructions for doing this.  Will I have to reinstall the software once the transaction goes through?

Thank you for any insights!

Hello @Anonymous,

Welcome back.

Your reseller should be able to assist you with this transition, but based on the information provided it seems you are making some licensing changes in this case, you would need to reset the licensing.

Reset 2016 & Older Autodesk product

1.Conduct a Clean Uninstall & use the following steps to reset licenses for 2016 & older Autodesk products.

2. Close out all Autodesk product

3. Removing the C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet\adskflex_########_tsf.data  &  C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet\adskflex_########_tsf.data.backup

2017 and Newer Autodesk Products

  1. At the top-right of the screen select the drop-down triangle next to the User Name to display a drop-down help drop down.pnglist .
  1. Click “Manage License...” to open the License Manager screen.
  2. Locate the product and click “Change license type” next to the product, it will close.
  3. Launch the product, on the "Let’s Get Started" screen select the appropriate license type and follow the prompts.

Let us know how this turns out.

@natasha.l - is the above info in a AKN article? If not, it should be. This is concise yet complete. Thanks.
