Problem to install Autocad due to missing file

Hi. I have a problem to install Autocad 2015. Every time before finishing, it says there is a missing file... Could it be because of firewall protection? Thanks, Ben

What says missing file in the error message?. Such as Net framework or .dll file or something.

Before installing AutoCAD, Disable firewall.

Hi,

I'm sorry to tell, but the solution of disabling the Firewall on my computer - didn't help!

During the installation came again the message:

.NET 4.5 is not installed. Autocad 2015 cannot be installed without this component.

See your system administrator for more information.

Please help me.

Thanks

What O/S are you running?
If you are using a supported O/S - then avoid using the "download and install" combination method (which is the default). Follow these links to direct downloads: 2017 and earlier, or here for 2018. After you download the required files, if you are not sure what to do, click here for help.

Could you please tell me, very specifically, how could I solve it? So far, the answers were very general. Thanks

I sent you a link in how to resolve the issue of not having netframe 4.5 installed on your machine.  Have you followed those steps?  If you're not sure how to handle this or don't want to..  I would recommend taking your machine to a place that troubleshoots computers or perhaps you have a family and/or friend that can assist you.  In addition I don't know where you are at this posint since we have already provided info to you.  What did you try and etc...  Smiley Wink

Thanks Mark.

The only advice I could guess that is related with my problem, is - "Before downloading anything, wipe your system clean of any existing Autodesk program files."

Well, it's a little bit complicated because I have also REVIT on my computer. I wouldn't want to uninstall it.

So, the last relevant advice is...

"Delete the file you downloaded.
Go to Start > Accessories > System Tools > Disc Cleanup and run that utility to clear your temp files, etc.
Reboot your machine.
Go to your country's main Autodesk website and download the trial version of the software.
Install the product.
Return to the Education Community to obtain your product key and serial number."

I doubt if it'll help because I've already done so recently with CClean, but I'll give it a chance.

ONE QUESTION: I guess it has nothing to do with the Autocad version I chose to use, I mean - the year (2015). Isn't it so?

Thanks anyway.

Sorry, I'm too late due to a personal issue.

I don't know your OS.

If your OS is Window 10, You need recently Window update, and then Your computer will be installed Net Framework 4.7 automatically.

So Try again installing AutoCAD, But you still get the error message, You have to edit net framework version in the Registry.

This link helps you how to edit net framework version in the registry.

Window 10 does not support AutoCAD 2015 as perfectly that I heard, I don't know what it means.

If your OS is Window 7 or 8.1, You need to install Net framework 4.5 at here.

If you are already installed Net framework 4.5 on your computer, I recommend you to install 2015 hotfix that it can fix Net Framework 4.5 issue from here

Where are you getting this advice to wipe your system?   Have you followed the steps about the netframe?  I can't afford to keep going back and forth on this subject and asking you the same question over and over...  Smiley Wink
