Mudbox 2015 wont start

Hey there Autodesk Team,

 

 

i bought a monthly mudbox 2015 subscription. downloaded it, started it ..everything worked fine. 

 

closed it, tried to open it again and now i get stuck at the start sceen which says i should contact my admin to get the rights to use this product .. 

I can type in my serial number and click activate .. after that i get back again to that screen .. and get an email which an activation code  .. but there is no field for the code to be pasted .. 

 

 

please help 😉

this is where i always end up 

 

tried to install the trial version .. 

 

asked me to insert my serial number .. 

 

said i have a license file already installed on that computer .. which will be used .. 

 

getting stuck here again !

PS: ganz genau da häng ich auch! diese völlig übertriebene (und sinnlose) Sicherheitspolitik von Autodesk ist einfach ärgerlich ..seit 2 Tagen probier ich hier jetzt rum.

its working for me now: 

 

Paul Schicketanz: okay good .. already tried to install the trial .. but get stuck at the end at the same screen ..

Alessandra: Ok, it should be working now

Paul Schicketanz: okay , i see you added myself as an admin in my own account ?

Alessandra: yes, your contract was not registered in your account

Paul Schicketanz: could i have done that myself ? because i tried to add myelf as a user in my autodesk account

Paul Schicketanz: but i didnt worked

Alessandra: please note that these kind of licenses do not need an activation code

Alessandra: n, unfortunately not

Alessandra: you just need your userID and password

Paul Schicketanz: okay .. thats too bad .. but wait, ill try to start it

Paul Schicketanz: okay its working

 

 

So you have to contact the support over the chat system 

 

they will add yourself in your own user account as the administrator for your account (a bit stupid) and you can not do it yourself ..
