Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Its failing on updating the Autodesk License certification.  I found this article http://www.teamsystemsolutions.com/support/knowledge-base/installation-fails-with-error-code-26352.a... but the solution is at your own risk.  I've never seen this error before so its at your own risk.  Smiley Wink

Hello @Anonymous,

Welcome.

Please let us know where you are pulling this download from, are you installing from a deployment?

  1. Try grabbing it from your Autodesk Account & try a Browser Download.
  2. Adjust Lan Settings & Proxy Setting
  3. Use Fiddler to locate web sessions being processed on the system, to locate network traffic
  4. System clock settings

Thank you for posting & let us know if you have any questions.

Hello @Anonymous,

Please try the download from your Autodesk Account, the steps above to make sure you have access to your systems folders & access to Autodesk services:

  1. Conduct a Clean Uninstall of the application & use the MSfixitTool to complete it
  2. Reboot the computer & log in as a Windows Administrator
  3. Clean out the TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Start Menu and hit Enter
  4. Temporarily disable security settings like Antivirus, Firewall & UAC on your Windows operating system
  5. Use the Browser Download Method in your Autodesk Account

Hello @Anonymous,

Have you given a different download a try? It could be related to the deployment or lack of prep for the install, the easiest way to know is to try another download.

Thank you for posting to the community & let us know how it went. Smiley Happy

I've tried using a few different methods to no avail. I believe this is a problem with the way our company locks access to machines down. I am working with our internal IT to try and obtain full administrator access to install as I do not have that and I believe that is the problem.

Thanks,

Manually installing \x64\CLIC\Autodesk_License_Service_(x64)_5.1.5_Hotfix_1.msp and

CLIC_x64_Release.msi first before running the installer apparently tricked the installer in thinking the certs were there and allowed it to complete the install.

Thanks everyone.

Hello @Anonymous,

Glad to hear you found an interesting workaround especially if you ran it with Administrator permissions by right-clicking & "Run As Administrator" would help as well.

As you mentioned, yes you need Administration permissions only during the install & first launch.

Thank you for letting us know about what resolved it & for contributing!

Hi
It appears I am having the same issue as you were, "Install Autodesk License Service Certificate Failed Installation aborted, Result=1603"
We tried to troubleshoot it but couldn't find an anwser.
-we made sure we are the administrator on the computer
-we found that we already had the .NET installed
we tried to install "\x64\CLIC\Autodesk_License_Service_(x64)_5.1.5_Hotfix_1.msp" but when we ran the installer it said that that we might not have the program the it needed to update, or that we didn't have the latest version, we are trying to install the Maya Autodesk 2018

do you have any guidance?

Hello @Anonymous & @Anonymous,

You can review the steps in >this article<, try the steps outlined to adjust proxy settings & whitelisting the domains necessary for license validation.

If the issue persists be sure to try Option 8: Regenerate Root Certificates.

Let us know how this turns out.

I am having issues with installing Maya 2018. I get an error saying cannot open device or file specified C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Temp\_AIA2F8.tmp\x64\Maya\Maya.msi

There is no AppData folder in Admin. Im running Windows 10

I have also tried a Browser Download and the Desktop App.

Please advise.

Cheers

Appdata is a hidden folder.  Are you viewing hidden files/folders?

There's a couple of ways to properly download and install your Autodesk product to your machine.  Please review this article and the solution it provides.

Hi Mark

Thanks for the info. I followed the instructions but when I ran the Pre-requisite Checker nothing happened - ie. no results. It seemed to run it fine but then the window closed an no results were shown. I tried un-installing, and re-installing but the same problem. So I continued with the rest of the instructions in the Preferred Method for Downloading and Installing but I still had the missing Maya.msi. The folder was hidden so the file is there, as you can see from the attached.

Cheers
