Maya 2018 (ECS Ultimate) will not update, invalid SN

I don’t know where to send this. I haven’t been able to find a similar issue in the Forums, so it’s probably a local issue. I don’t know:

I am using “Entertainment Creation Suite Ultimate.” Since Maya 2016.2, I have not been able to install any of the Maya updates. Max, MoBu, and Mudbox installed their updates without any problem, but the Maya updates required a serial number and it has always given me a message that the number is not correct. Every time that I have installed a Maya update, I ended up uninstalling it and re-installing the original version, without any updates.

Maya 2018.4 update has just been released. I’m still running Maya 2018, without any updates. My “Autodesk Desktop App” (which is usually empty) is, now, populated. Under the Maya tab, it states that my “…available updates are installed,” but that is not correct. None of my Maya 2018 updates are installed.

My Maintenance Plan expires Aug 12, 2019. I’ll be installing Maya 2019 when it becomes available, so the Maya 2018 updates won’t matter, but the issue will arise, again, with the first Maya 2019 update. Can you help me, or send me to where I might find some help or give me some guidance? Thanks.

Have you tried accessing your updates through your Autodesk Account instead? 

1. Sign in to your Autodesk Account at manage.autodesk.com.
2. Go to the Updates & Add-ins tab

Yes. My download page has been my only choice, because the ADA, when populated, states that Maya is up to date. Max, MoBu, and Mudbox can be installed from either location. Thank you.

If you do not see the proper updates for your Maya 2016-2019 versions & you know you have keep an active maintenance plan that should have provided you these updates in your account, you should see these updates in your Autodesk Account. If that is the case, I would then reach out to the Account Management team to have them take a look at your contract.

I can download all of the Maya 2018 updates from my account page and install them; but, at the end of the installation, it requests that I enter my SN. When I enter the SN, I get a message that it is the wrong number. My contract is fine. My vendor is Trinity3D. They don't have a solution, either. I'll contact the "Account Management team;" but, if all they can do is look at my contract, they won't be of much help. Maybe they can send me to somebody else that might have a solution. This Account Management team can do more then just look at your account, for example, they will be able to determine what the issue is with the Serial Number & route you to the proper place if you need a new one etc. these backend issues can be resolved by them.
