Issues with downloading Vault Pro 2023 files.

Can someone please take a look and fix this. I thought it might be a problem just last week but it's still happening today and I can't install Vault Professional with ANY download method from manage.autodesk.com

Rather a hassle..

 

If I download the volumes, I get both but when trying to extract it still says one is missing (looks like the second half fails)

 

If using the classic download now, you get this error.

It's not an isolated issue as far as I can tell. Same problem on my local PC as well as various VM's in different locations.

thanks for reporting it. if you are saying Vault Professional Server 2023 English,  I didn't encounter the issue and can download them from https://manage.autodesk.com, and extracted the 2 files: VPS2023_ENU_64bit_dlm_001_002.sfx.exe and VPS2023_ENU_64bit_dlm_002_002.sfx.exe

1. please make sure double click the 001_002.sfx.exe file to extract the 2 files.

2. try to delete the Vault Professional Server 2023 folder from C:\Autodesk\ if there is it, and re-extract the file again.

3. if you are still facing the problem. delete the 2 exe files and re-download them and check if it could solve the issue

Thanks for the reply. Yes Vault Professional 2023 English.
Did you try and execute the files after downloading? This is when they fail. I had no problem actually downloading the two files as normal. I have done this numerous times.
Both are there, both look the right size but "ERROR Product download consists of multiple files. At least one file is missing or has not been downloaded yet"

Like I said, it fails with both methods and not just from a single location or computers. Unless it is only a problem on my account, which would be odd.
I have been forced to find a old version that I had downloaded previously and use that fine.

The manage.autodesk.com website is also VERY slow.

Please investigate a little bit further. There is something not right.

Just tried it again incase it magically got fixed.

Hi Ben, thanks. I believe you are not alone. there are a few topics about it if you do a google sear...

 

may I know if you have a try with other browser? like Chrome or IE? 

see from the file size of them 002_002, it's a little diff with the correct one 1,536,495. could you please try download the sfx file through the "Browser download" way from "Classic view" of https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services? as show in below picture.

The issue you linked is not the same.

You can see in my screenshot there are two volumes downloaded.

 

Just tried the classic, browser download. 

001_001.sfx finished very fast.

001_002.sfx was extremely slow to download but eventually finished.

 

The files extracted and worked as expected. 

This is on a different PC again using Edge browser.

Tested the Download now again, Aborted half way.

 

So far 4 different PC's, in 4 different locations with either Chrome or Edge are having the problem.

This is still happening.

My colleague this morning had the exact same issue with ALL methods of downloading on a clients server. When extracting it says there is one volume missing.

Hi Ben,

 

thanks for feedback. may I know have you tried changed the "extracted folder" to other driver disk but not C:\ ? may I know what OS are you using?

No, always C:\ but different locations with the same result. 

 

OS is either Windows Server 2019 or Windows 10 from the tests so far. 

Using previously downloaded installation files works.. there is just something wrong with what is currently there.

More issues with manage.autodesk.com

Unable to load the updates page on different sites. Tried refreshing, incognito etc with no success.

Hi Ben,

thanks for reporting the issues with manage.autodesk.com, recently we are transferring old page to new one. so you might see the unstable situation. now all things came back in https://manage.autodesk.com/products/updates. please try again.

You can also use the download links to get those 2 SFX files directly. I sent them to you in private message
