Installing autocad updates

I am updating autoCAD architecture from version 16 to 20 on some machines and from 19 to 20 on some.  Is it necessary to uninstall the older versions before installing the new.  Also, is there enough difference between 19 and 20 to make it worth while to install new.

No, you can keep the old version up an running if you wish until everyone is happy with the 2020 versions, then you can remove them.

Everyone might as well be on the same version: 2020 looks different onscreen (appearance only) so you will end up with haves and have-nots issues to deal with.
