Actually, it requires the INSTALL button to be elected. If you look, you
will see that it is Greyed Out and inoperative. This is a frozen state
and I need tech support to fix this. How can I contact them?

But there is nothing to install showing in the window. Everything showing there is already installed, or at least, that's what is being reported.

There is no way to leave this screen. There is no 'Finish', 'end' or
'exit' available. In the top left corner it states "Install>Configure
Installation", so I assume there is some Configuration necessary. In the
bottom right it states Disk Space 288MB required / 350 GB available. As
it states 'Required' it looks like it still has something to do...but what.

We can theorize what is happening, but I need a real solution from
somebody why has seen this before and knows what to do next...any ideas?

If it were me, I'd just press that big "X" in the upper right corner and close out of the dialog box, and then launch the Autodesk program I wanted to use by finding and clicking the .exe file.   But, that's me.

...btw: that was a "real solution"  --  from someone who's been installing software on computers for over 35 years.

...if you don't want "theorizing", which is basically what troubleshooting is; then contact Autodesk through your manage.accounts portal.

...you might want to: type %TEMP% in the Run Box, delete all temp files, reboot and disable firewall and antivirus.

You will need to use Microsoft Fixit to resolve this issue

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed...

or  perform a clean uninstall per these instructions.

NOTE: The information within the article is solely based on you performing a clean uninstall of all "core" Autodesk products on your machine.  In certain situations, you will most likely not be removing all of your Autodesk products to resolve a given issue.  If that's the case, you'll need to adjust those settings and locations within the article to make sure you are not impacting those other Autodesk products you plan on leaving on your machine.

Are you adding attachments and replying via email?  If so don't use your email to reply to forum postings.  Come back to the forums and reply directly there.  If you attaching images do not make another document like in your original posting..  Just use the photo tool in the toolbar and directly attach your images right inside of your reply.

Yes, sure. It was installed once before but I had a Windows crash and
had to totally rebuild Windows again. Because it installed before, I
know this will work. The problem is that when installing anything on
Windows, the installer needs to keep track of the install. Just letting
Windows do it will lead to all these troubles...Paul

Have you tried creating a new local admin and installing from there?

The image indicates you don't have the proper rights to your machine and your image is showing you're using the install now method.  Don't use that method..

There's a couple of ways to properly download and install your Autodesk product to your machine.  Please review this article and the solution it provides.

If the installation does fail using the preferred methods, please post your installation log file here so we can review it.

You are wrong. Not only do I have Full Rights but this is actually a
Registry Error. Tech Support will know what to do, we dont need to
guess. Please pass this onto Tech Support, thanks.

Tech Support?  This is a user based forum and your support is from the users who reply to you.      If you want direct support from Autodesk you have to do it.  I'm just a user.

Yes I know its a registry issue that you don't have proper rights to...  Smiley LOL   And I'm not guessing..

Have you followed the instructions that I sent and not used the install now function?   Run the installation as admin (right mouse click on setup.exe and select to run as admin).
