I understand that C:\Autodesk\* stores installation related files, and is useful if one wants to perform update of the software.
The problem is that in my case here ( Civil3D 2022, but I guess the same principle applies to AutoCAD 2022), the related installation folder at C:\Autodesk\Autodesk_Civil_3D_2022_English_Win_64bit_wi_en-us is missing; I thought I store it at backup location, but I couldn't find it ( older versions of Civil3D installation folder are there, so this is not a simple case of I forgetting exactly where the backup location is). If I could find it I can put it back to C:\Autodesk\* to perform a Civil3D 2022 update.
Now I can't perform the update; because the Autodesk Desktop app will crash when I try to launch it. I suspect that it's because the relevant files at C:\Autodesk\* is not found.
How to update Autodesk related products update in my case here?
