Firstly, system requirements for AutoCAD 2005 are Microsoft Windows XP (Professional, Home Edition, or Tablet PC Edition), Windows 2000, therefore it is not compatible with Windows 7.
If you have the license of AutoCAD 2005 and wish to use it, please make sure your machine runs above mentioned Operating System.
About finding the Serial Number, your serial number and product key will be printed on the label of the product packaging.
