Hello @Anonymous,

You can try to check your Windows 10 Securities & Defender (anti-virus), make sure you have access to the file indicated & its location.

I repaired the program by re-installing.

Natshal84;

Greetings!  Thank you for the info you have provided here.  I too, was having problems with the 'AECMGDREVERSE.dll' ARX Command giving me an Exception Error each time I started AutoCAD Arch 2018. After reading yours, as well as a few other posts regarding Exception errors, I turned off my Firewall as well as my Norton Antivirus (All done through Norton) for one hour. I then cleaned my registry with Norton Tools, then rebooted the machine.  Once back, instead of

uninstalling all of the AutoCAD programs, I just told the AutoCAD dialog to 'reinstall'. (With fingers crossed to see what that would do!) Once AutoCAD had finished updating, I clicked the START AC desktop Icon and held my breath. IT WORKED! No more Unhandled Exception Error Message! Thank You and all who have contributed their knowledge to fix these problems.

Oh, one more thing. I'm using FireFox instead of Windows Explorer, would that cause any future problems??

O.K. I for one hate wasting time beating road kill!  However, after following the instructions regarding this error 'fix', I have discovered something that I hope may help others not loose their minds.

Be VERY CAREFUL FOLLOWING THESE INSTRUCTIONS! Do NOT clean out your entire 'TEMP' folder as described below!  This folder holds files for many other programs on your system and if you kill the entire folder, many other 'problems' WILL arise!  I've spend over a week rebuilding, my system and getting everything to work again after following this recfomendation.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled ACA 2018 at least 6 times!  I believe that you should delete ONLY the files relating to AUTOCAD in C:\Users\Your computers name\AppData\Local\Temp\AutoCAD (NOT THE ENTIRE TEMP FOLDER FILES).
Also, IF you run Norton Utilities to keep your system running well, be aware that after you run 'Clean Registry' under Performance, that you may get a list of files that need 'repaired'.  If you click ALL, this could set your newly fixed AutoCAD program to once again have 'EXCEPTION' errors!  Also, while in Norton Utilites, be carful when you run 'Find Duplicate Files' under 'RECOVERY'.  Once again, if you allow it to alter your AutoCAD files, you are in for another uninstall and reinstall session. WHile I greatly appreciate all the helpful 'tip's from this forum, just remember after all it is just a 'SUGGESTION'.  What may work well for one, may not work well for us all.
