Error "This content cannot be displayed in a frame" after entering the serial number

Good afternoon, when I try to activate AutoCAD 2025, I click enter serial number, enter it, and then I get an error: "This content cannot be displayed in a frame". How can this be solved?

What do you have for a firewall/anti-virus?

I don't think it's the software .. I'm looking at a blocked issue. I don't think it's the serial number causing it. Because others aren't on serial numbers that are getting this.

You have two PC's with it and Windows. Saw one with Windows a Mac iOS... that's 2 different installers. So I'm looking at something outside of the software for why now

I have completely reinstalled Windows(exactly reinstall, not reset), tried activating other products, same problem there too. I researched it, the frame error is related to server settings, more about it here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Headers/X-Frame-Options

If you have a chance to bring this to the developers, I think it would speed up the problem, as more and more people are facing the problem every day.

What do you have for your Anti-Virus and Firewall?

What happens if you disconnect from the Internet/Wifi/Bluetooth .. network etc .. no connection and try starting it?  Does it start in Trial mode?

No, I don't have antivirus or firewall. I have tried different connection points: home internet, internet on my cell phone, at a friend's house and in a cafe, nowhere the situation has changed.

The trial version works, but it is limited to 15 days

Like jenrix.kot, I do not use anything besides the vanilla Windows anti-virus.

I'd also recommend creating a case with Autodesk:

https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-create-a-su...

1000's of people a day are activating.. we need to see what's blocking you few ..

We know it'll run, as it'll run on trial.

It's not OS / iOS related. (based on what I see and all of the different ones involved)

Do you all show the software in your account portals?

Can you run this and make sure all of the URL's have access:

Salve

It's not the Software .. it's something PC / Permission / Anti-Virus / Access.  Thousands are installing it daily and not getting this.

What happens @jasonhuRXQYL  If you click the See Content in New Window?

Should give you a login in option

What bothers me is the Autodesk logo and the Internet Explorer-like dialogues in the screen shots. It's the old logo and Internet Explorer is a loooong time ago. Now it could be an oversight of the programmers or it could be something else. IMO it obvious got something to do with the licensing stuff, which is a separate program. It could be a very outdated piece of licensing software. When used for educational purposes, it uses a different licensing method but I can't figure out how it works - is there a different licensing service involved?

Are you sure? I mean - serial numbers are no longer used for 'regular users'?

It opens an IE window and allows me to login, but then nothing happens.

I don't know how Autodesk dev works, but I work in IT for my day job as a SysAdmin for SCCM/Intune. It actually seems like it might be an oversight during devops for how the license is activating in this specific workflow. could be as simple as the line of code telling how that activation window opens the authentication frame.

Having same problem education 2025, thankfully have the benefit of IT Support USA MIT to find out from Autodesk what is the true message / problem. The reply I got was that Autodesk resellers have been advised that there is a global issue across packages with licensing both education as a key and as administration doing behind the scene linkage of licensing to user. Advised, as other have found as well that it is a Web HTTPS protocol that has not been correctly configured and it relates to the transfer between web pages during the licensing process and it is failing on a x stream protocol. They have also confirmed it impacts on Mac, Linux, Android and Windows 11 web browsers and that the testing shows to date it is an error somewhere within the Autodesk code set and not an issue around HTTP or HTTPS configuration in the web browsers. Currently, no resolution time scale could be advised, was told the trial period usage of the relevant products would be extended for impacted users. Hope that gives some common ground to the issue? This was at 10:00 UK today so anybody with more information I think all will appreciate.
