Disk space requirements

The disc space requirements were stated as 5GB but when I am trying to download the Revit 30 days trial it says that 15gb are required and there is insufficient disc space. Please can you confirm what the actual disk space requirements are.

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

That 5GB requirements is for the operation of the software once its installed.

You have limited disk space please review Travis' KB article for more information

Hello @Anonymous,

The system requirements for Revit 2018 state you need 5 GB free disk space for Revit, the installer with a Browser Download requires 7GB + the extraction, so typically you need three times the required space.
