I'm working mainly in 2024 but this morning I started Civil 3D 2022 to check on something. It said that a license is no longer available. Even though I was logged on to my account in both Civil 3D 2024 and the forums. I was asked to log-in. I shut the program and opened it again by clicking on the desktop icon I always us. I got the same message. So I went through the log-in process successfully. I still get the message. As you can see below. I was logged-in and the message still displays.

What @DarrenP said.

I wish Autodesk would get this fixed. With 1000 users, we spend way too much time "fixing" their programming bugs (regarding licensing). Something we spent zero time doing over the past quarter of a century with the LMTOOLS network license manager.

Luckily after another restart it is finding a license.

@DarrenP Thanks for the link. But this shows the problem I have with trying to solve Autodesk problem. Mainly a problem with my employer. About 4 years ago they took Admin rights from everyone not in IT. So when I see in the link that almost every solution says Uninstall and Reinstall or Download and install this program. I realize that any of those steps  will require IT. And that can take up the whole day if they're busy or have people out.

Sorry. Blowing off steam. I'll mark you post as the solution because it most likely would have been the one.

That is unfortunate. We (IT) here move any ticket up to the highest priority, if the user is not able to do billable work.

We (IT) here also do not have local admin rights. Nobody should - in the effort to prevent the spread of malware, crypto-ware, etc.

That's another problem. Being a government agency. We don't do billable work.

I have a great relationship with the techs in IT. But they're human. If they see they can clear 5 requests to reset passwords and other small issues. They may hit those first before taking on something that may take a few hours.

Also they don't save installations. So that adds to the time since I have to sent them a file to let them create a new installation. Oh well.
