Autodesk Usage Reports

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I was looking for info about license Usage Reporting.

If I use the Usage Report feature in my account, there is a power user who I know is using AutoCAD daily, at 80-90% utilization per week. When I view their stats, it says there has been no activity for 119 days?

I manage about 40 licenses and I know we have a lot of casual users, but I'm not comfortable making recommendations on adding/dropping licenses if I feel the reporting feature is suspect.

@CGriffin

Reporting data may be inaccurate for the following reasons:

  • If you subscribe to an individual product and an industry collection that contains the same product on the same contract.

  • If multiple users are accessing a product using the same username and password. Make sure each user is assigned to a product in Autodesk Account and signs in using their own email and password.

Thanks and Regards,

Rushabh Thakkar.

All 40 licenses are on the same contract.

We have 5 AutoCAD (including specialized toolsets), 1 Revit, & 34 AutoCAD LT.

To my knowledge, we don't share licenses (or encourage it)... but the license in question is the same type as mine, other than version... I'm still using 2021 & the mystery license is 2023. This person started with our organization 4 months ago... it tracked usage for the first 2 weeks and then disappeared from Autodesk radar.

We have had security issues, where our installations of AutoCAD were blocked from "talking" to Autodesk to validate licenses, but it's been clear for a few years now. It's just weird that this only affects a handful of people on a variety of titles.
