A co-worker updated his AutoCAD to 2022; as did many other of my co-workers. His current version has a counter that states he has "X" amount of days working without internet before it basically quits working.
- We have an active internet connection.
- His AutoCAD has all the updates downloaded.
- His computer is the only computer in the office with this message.
- We did have licensing issues with his computer that was corrected with a wipe and re-install. AutoCAD kept saying he did not have an active subscription.
- I found this on the forums, but it is based off actually not having internet. Considering we have internet, I'm not sure if it applies.
I'm the person everyone comes to for any AutoCAD related issues, but I never saw this before. My current mindset is that this might be an IT issue and that the company's firewall or something is blocking AutoCAD on his computer or something is causing AutoCAD to become corrupted based on the issue before.
Before I go to IT to have everything checked on their end, I want to be sure I cover everything on my end.
My questions are this:
1. Has anyone ran into this issue?
2. If so, what was the fix?
I tried to be as though as possible, so if you need additional information, please feel free to ask.
