Fix the licensing issues

What feels like every day someone in the office gets an Autodesk licensing error and I have to sit down and waste up to an hour following a bunch of arcane processes listed on an Autodesk web page. Closing processes. Deleting files. Resetting preferences. Editing registry files. Reinstalling components or even the whole **** software.

 

Autodesk clearly know they have a problem because these 'support' pages exist in abundence for each and every one of the many ways it fails, but the advice is scattergun and unreliable seemingly requiring trial, error and luck to hit upon a fix that works and above all should be unecessary.

 

NO OTHER SOFTWARE I USE HAS THESE LICENSING ISSUE. Autodesk, your licensing system should not be preventing me from using the software I have paid for, nor wasting 10's or potentially 100's of hours fixing it on every machine in the office when it arbitrarily breaks. If you can't get it to function like every other competant software company does then buy in a new licencing system, I don't care, but for the love of God, will you please fix your rotten, broken licensing system as a matter of urgency. It's a disgrace.
