Pipelines and connectors

Pipelines and connectors

Can there be some additional attributes made available to the pipelines and connectors:

Lid Level

Invert Level

Outlet Level

Sump Level

These are commonly used in New Zealand.

Drainage Design for InfraWorks 360 provides this level of functionality for drainage networks today.

The generic pipelines and connectors have sufficient generic functionality that that can represent items that don't have these common elements - for example - a surface pipeline.

Thanks for replying.

Sorry I don't think I explained myself very clearly. I'm referring more to importing GIS or survey data for existing/as-built drainage services. Admittedly the quality of the information that is received from the service providers isn't that great, a lot of attributed information is left out.

The information that would normally be provided are:
Type
MH Diameter
Pipe Diameter
Lid Level
Sump level
MH Depth
Length
Invert level
Outlet level

I guess what I am having trouble with is assigning an invert and outlet level to the ends of pipes, if I use elevation offset then I think that is assuming a depth from surface level rather than using an elevation level?

The depth from surface isn't usually supplied for pipes in GIS or Survey data here in New Zealand.

James -

InfraWorks is expecting the geometry of the data to control the pipe ends rather than the data.  Can you email me and we can discuss further?

Changing this from Solution Provided to Under Review.  The Clarifying comments indicated that getting values from non-3d geometry pipes is an known gap.
