Model explorer in viewer mode
You have to include model explorer in viewer mode. We are using IW viewer to share a big railway project in Norway and we have about 100 members reviewing the model through cloud and IW viewer. Compared to other tools like Navisworks, Virtual Map, Solibri etc. IW viewer has extremely limited functionality but enabling surface layers and model explorer would improve the experience significally.
This is not about read only mode with full licensed version of IW360. We want surface layers and model explorer to be implemented in the free unlicensed version of IW360 (viewer mode).
Reading through this idea, could this solution be a help to a big problem we have?
Our problem is that we have done a IW360 model to our customer, and we would like to hand it over to them, but as they do not have a licensed version of IW360 (expired evaluation or so called viewer mode) and we cannot keep the model in the cloud + customer would also like to get an offline version of the model, they cannot open the local model, as the IW360 in viewer mode only opens models that are shared via the cloud (no open functionality)?
