The styles palette should also accept Inventor files directly in addition to 3DS, OBJ, DXF etc. (Internally it can convert to some other format as necessary). We know most of this capability exists but with a small gap. This would help greatly in our consulting engagements to automate a few workflows.
Thanks for sharing your Idea. In the past year we've released the capability to leverage Inventor content as bridges and, more generally, 3D models within InfraWorks. The status is being changed to "Implemented," but if you feel that this is not the case, I hope you'll consider posting new suggestions here.
