Importing .NWC into InfraWorks 360

Importing .NWC into InfraWorks 360

Since InfraWorks 360 is using Navisworks as the background engine to convert the Revit model as .NWC before importing to InfraWorks 360 (besides the cloud option).  It would be nice to have .NWC as one of the support data source formats.

I use Navisworks to generate a "federated model" with multiple Revit linked models. Then, I export the model out from Navisworks as .FBX format for InfraWorks 360.  Unforturnately, the file size increased a lot in FBX and end up not acceptable in InfraWorks.

Hi @Anonymous, and others who voted, Sorry for getting to this with a significant delay. I understand there was some work done on bringing NWC data in the recent past. Would it be possible to update the current request so that we can handle it effectively?

@ramesh_sridharan  Do we need to install something for this integration? What version/build of InfraWorks does allow us to import .NWC directly?

@Anonymous Can you please try this workflow to bring NWD to InfraWorks?
