Please bring back the ability to use Augmented Reality in the iPad app onsite to the 2019 release, such a useful feature in consultations with adjoining property owners.
We used this capability to show a client our proposal for a development. It's incredibly useful to be able to demonstrate a proposal in this way. However, in the 2 weeks that it took to revise the proposal, the capability disappeared, and we're back to paper plans.
My understanding is that the BIM 360 capability allows you to see the model in 3D, but it doesn't position or orient you inside the model (which the iPad app was able to do).
My company is really interested in using AR to showcase our projects on site. Appalled seeing Autodesk has discontinued this tool. Please bring it back!
Please bring back this feature to 2019. I would benefit tremendously from using it to demonstrate how a few catalyst sites in Ballarat could be redeveloped in order to activate the derelict retail precinct.
This was my most used and favorite feature of infraworks and was our clients most commonly applauded feature. To have lost it with no viable alternative for geolocated augmented reality seems like a giant leap backwards.
I thought it was all about innovation and moving into new technology, why remove something that was providing better and innovative design presentation options - seems ludicrous?!?!?!?
Please keep the AR functionally in Infraworks 2019 🙂

Such a disappointment the AR feature has been removed. this is one of the reasons why we were using Infraworks in the first place. Autodesk - When can this be reinstated?
It looks like they don´t want to adapt the customers necessities. Now, the cut off AR in Infraworks ipad App. A while ago, the point of cloud manipulation on Civil 3D version latest 2017. I really don´t undertand Autodesk strategy . True is they improve every software version they launch. But, sometime they do a step backward , and they left the workflow, in order to satificed the customer necessities. .
Please, Autodesk guys, hear the forum, and come back the AR in Infrawork app.
