Material begins at each point instead of being continuous

Hi, I have created a fence material which I have applied to an sdf alignment. The material begins at each polyline point instead of being continuous, whats the best way to fix this?

Thanks

Hi @ivan7890

I cannot recreate the issue on my system.

I have created a polyline in Civil 3D and added vertices on the straight line.

Then exported to SDF and imported to InfraWorks, result is:

Is your polyline straight or are there corners at the vertex points?

Regards,

Karsten.

Is that one continuous polyline, or is it several polylines all end to end?

Hi @Anonymous

it's one continuous polyline in my case.

Hi, it is one continuous polyline in civil3d. It was given to me by the civil designers and exports as a single line with multiple vertices. I believe the way the line was generated was a drape over a surface.

I have had to manually draw a barrier using the imported as a reference.

Just from having another look at your picture, it looks like all of the vertices are at different elevations, its possible that this could be the reason.
