Have you seen this video: Importing a Civil 3D corridor into InfraWorks

It may explain a few things that maybe you're missing.

If you're importing an SHP file and configuring the data as a roadway, you need to either set the roadway style at the time you configure the data or drag/drop a roadway style onto the road after you've configured your data.

Hi @Anonymous

Civil 3D to InfraWorks:

  • Only the alignments are carried over
  • You will need to create corridor surfaces in Civil 3D and import these to InfraWorks as well to see the corridor modeled

InfraWorks to Civil 3D:

  • Again - only the street alignments are carried to Civil 3D
  • In Civil 3D you will need to create profile assembly and corridor as extra step

Regards,

Karsten.

Are all the Intersection alignments (lane widening, curb returns) suppose to be coming into Civil 3D now?
