Infraworks 2020.1 update -license not available Error 5.412.0 / 96.7.11001

Program will open in LT type (viewer only mode) if I just close the new startup licensing dialog.  All other attempts have thrown up errors.  I'd like my full access back as I'm an AEC user (administered by IT in my company).   Any tips to help resolve this or communicate the issue properly would be greatly appreciated.  Similar issues have taken up plenty of my time with previous updates.

Thanks,

-Shaun

you pretty much need to generate new license file for your AEC collection

Please correct me if I'm wrong here but, this seems like Autodesk should fix the program rather than create an issue for existing subscribers to work around.  Anyone know why is this happening?

this is a new feature in 2020.1 it now looks for a license from your network license manager

Thank you DarrenP!

Ok, so I read through this info & QA.  Please keep in mind that I'm not a tech or software manager.  I'm a everyday civil designer.  Please feel free to correct me if I say something wrong.

Excerpt from QA;

"Is network license management for InfraWorks integrated with other AEC software license management (same license file, software, and processes)?
Yes. The same workflows used in the current license management system can be applied. No customizations or special builds were developed to support this change."

From what I understand it says that we should have no problems. Yet I have major problems since I cannot utilize the program. Now I'm trouble shooting, communicating though our IT dept, they communicate through our mid-support, all will probably find/read all these articles & consult with Autodesk.

I tried the delete .cas thing... Final verdict unknown.?. Maybe; "you pretty much need to generate new license file for your AEC collection" as Darren suggested.?. -This seems like more of a work-around then a solution.

This is a huge deal to me and I hope it gets resolved quickly. FYI I'm not utilizing BIM storage.

Thank you all for your time!

-Shaun

I'm not sure what the fix is... My understanding is that Autodesk worked something out.  So I'm up and running again.  This has been bang your elbow fun 🐵 thanks everyone for all of your help.  Hopefully we saved others some time.

Thanks Autodesk, for moving all the buttons around.  Keepin it interesting i guess.

I've another problem with Infraworks 2020

When I want to create a network package with the Create Deployment option I don't get the option like the other AEC Collection products to choose between Autodesk ID or Network options. There is no option at all to type the serial number and license server.

So when I go further to create to package and after this when you install it you need to choose between ID or network.

Not really convenient for the users because they need to know the license server.

Please Autodesk solve this problem as soon as possible
