InfraWorks 2015.3 slow while browsing folders

Anonymous

Browsing in folders is very, very slow by browsing for adding data sources also by defining location for model builder data.

Please, let me know a solution.

Greetings,

Gerard

Hi,

in order to share the solution in this issue:

The issue was solved by turning off "use system proxy settings" in the application options.

Hi Sara and Gerard,

Can this Registry Edit help out with the problem? --> Login to Autodesk InfraWorks 360 does not work when using a Proxy Server

I've also noticed very slow browsing of folder structures but only when I have a very huge and detailed model in InfraWorks and want to export out a video sequence on full quality. Then it's very slow to choose the destination folder on even a local drive. Example of this 'huge' model --> Wilhelminapier Rotterdam

Regards,

John

@Gerard: misschien een idee om jezelf in te schrijven voor een InfraWorks workshop? Vrijdag 13 februari in Oosterhout. Inschrijven kan hier

Hi John,

The registry setting Use_Proxy=true was the problem. The solution is to change the setting to Use_Proxy=false.

I don't experience slow browsing by using huge models.

By the way, nice IW-model of Rotterdam!

Regards,

Gerard
