Bridge abutments deleted and/or rotated when selecting deck "Has Haunches" option

Hello:

Has anyone encountered the following issue?  I have loaded and selected a custom abutment at both ends of a bridge structure.  When selecting the deck option "Has Haunches" one of the abutments disappears while the other rotates approximately 90 degrees.  See attached screen shots.  This only seems to occur with custom abutments.

Any ideas if this is something I am causing and where I may be going wrong?

Which version of Infraworks are you using?  I have not run into this issue before.  Would you be willing to share your custom abutment?  We can then investigate the issue further.
