hi,

once you import the DWG file you need to place it via the positioning grips. If you select the overlay in the datasource panel you see it attached to the mouse pointer as a ghost copy. Now you can select a point in the model and a point in the dwg file to reposition it.

Let me know if you can see the dog file somewhere in the model.

In the model explorer you can set the transparency and the stacking order of the overlays.

hi,

out of your screenshot i cannot see if the status of the overlay import is still processing? If so how big is your DWG file?

Can you send a screen shot of the Dialog again as well as how the DWG file looks like?

What do you mean by "How to move this layer behind"?

Thx

Andreas

Hi @Anonymous

yopu can switch on and off your 2D DWG overlay in the model explorer.

If you have several overlays, you can adjust the draw order there as well.

Other than that, there is currently no way to control the layer order in relation to other objects, for example via the Surface Layers.
